Spring is approaching!

It's already almost April and we've had a lot happen over the past month! Between our new deck furniture, our outdoor cat, and Craig getting started on the garden, it's been a busy few weeks!

Presidents' Weekend

Welcome back! Craig and I accomplished so much this weekend. The three-day weekend flew by and we did so many house updates. From trekking to IKEA, to painting our living room, to decorating, we sure are starting to see our house become a home.

Craig installed the shelf under the window in the kitchen and also worked on the peninsula. They are coming along!

Happy February!

We worked on the house this weekend while it snowed outside! I made some tasty treats for the super bowl - vegan carrot cake cupcakes. Craig made seitan hot wings that were amazing. We also cleaned and rearranged the basement so it looks much more organized. Pictures coming soon! Here's the peninsula progress...

January!

Hello everyone and welcome back! Sorry for the long break. We took about a month off from home renovations to travel home for the holidays, spend time with friends, and enjoy the unusually nice January weekend weather. Craig got started on the new counter-top that is between the kitchen and dining room/living room - the peninsula. Here are some before and after photos!
