Master bedroom

I am SO excited to share this blog post with you! Craig and I had quite a busy week last week - coming back from Portland, continuing to unpack, winning a game at our kickball league and then I also had to fight off a cold! On Friday I bought a sewing machine so now I can make curtains when Craig's mom comes out to visit!! :)

However, the most exciting news is that our bedroom is complete and all set up. Craig worked so hard from Friday to Sunday finishing the base trim for the bedroom and putting all of the final touches together. I left last night to teach yoga and when I returned, our entire bed frame was assembled and set up by Craig!

Portland

Sorry I don't have any NEW pictures from the house. Craig and I were in Portland this past weekend visiting with Craig's brother, sister-in-law, niece and Craig's parents. Craig is now an Uncle!!!

Here's a snapshot from our weekend. More work happening this week including installing the trim, setting up our bedroom furniture and some other surprises! Stay tuned :)

Craig and I spent last night taking over our clothes and putting them in the closet. Also, we started building our IKEA furniture. We put together one of our rolling storage bins and a nightstand. I'll keep you on the edge of your seat for the pictures...I'll post them tomorrow once I take some tonight!

Craig and I have had a crazy week and weekend. Everyone (and our "stuff") is safe but we did experience some water in our basement and garage. What had originally been planned as a work night got put off to a move everything into the house in the rain night last week.

This weekend we bought our bedroom furniture (for the guest and master bedroom) and finished the painting in our bedroom. Last thing left is putting on the trim and setting up our bed and dresser. It's starting to feel like home!

this past weekend I was out of town for work. These are pictures from before I left. we are slowly unpacking and still making updates!!! Craig has completed all the sanding on the floors and our bed arrives today!
